Summer Reading challenge

The library ladies from Croxley Green came to assembly to tell us about the summer reading challenge. The challenge is to read 6 books over the school holidays.  You get smelly stickers to add to your wallet to help solve the mystery of the animal agents. Children who complete the challenge will receive a wristband and get invited to a presentation ceremony where you will get a medal.

Have you got a library card? The library service is free to join and it allows you to use all the libraries across Hertfordshire.

Careers day

We had a brilliant day dressed up in what we want to be when we are older

We had a visit from Amelia’s daddy to talk about the police.

Moses’ dad taught us how to be a good salesman

“Let’s do a deal”

Harvey’s mummy taught us how to be a designer in a museum.

Harvey’s mummy is a curator.

Poppy’s daddy talked about being a builder. He has to use a drill and do lots of organising. Poppy’s daddy uses plans  to tell people  what to do.

Bug Hotel

We have had great fun this morning making a bug hotel in our outside area. The children made signs, shelters and also a bug swimming pool!

We released our butterflies today. The children have enjoyed watching them grow and change. Ask them to tell you all about it.

A successful assembly and a spring walk

thank you for all of the effort made to make beautiful Easter bonnets. The children did fantastic job in their assembly.

After our assembly we had a fabulous spring walk. We spotted seedlings, blossom, a birds nest and lots of other signs of spring.
